Will probably come out strong - I have liked the way this filly has moved swiftly to the lead recently. Must be given a chance based on the respectable Equibase speed fig earned in the last affair. DOCALADY - Has the appearance of a profitable bet. Last time out, this mare faced a rougher crew. MA KA BET - With Antongeorgi in the saddle guiding her, this filly will almost certainly be able to break out early in this race.

MASTER CAT - This speed freak is running a shorter distance today. Should enhance his chances to win. The jockey and handler combination have a beneficial return on investment when they join forces. This horse picks up a lot of cash per race around the track. Tops in this event. This gelding is rounding his way back into shape. Should race well today. JUSMARP - Strong return on investment for this rider and trainer pair.

CAVANAUGH - Not probable for this racer to do much in today's event. The extended vacation is a troublesome sign. Substandard speed fig in the last race at Santa Anita at 6 furlongs. I'VE GOT HONOR - A pony coming back this soon after a nice outing is a good sign. Lezcano and Anderson partnered together are a horse gambler's friend. This mare is clearly on the improve with speed ratings of 76, 80, 82 last 3 out. SWEET YAMILA - Trainer, DiMauro, has been deliberate with this filly off the layoff. Look for a solid effort today. This campaigner coming off a strong race in the last thirty days is a solid contender in my opinion. You have to like that latest race speed fig, 84, which is the best last race speed fig of this field.
Vulnerable Contenders: #7 GIRL SHOW (ML=2/1), #5 PAGO ISLAND (ML=5/1), #3 HIGHLAND LASS (ML=8/1),
GIRL SHOW - In the last event this runner finished fifth. Doesn't bode well for her chances this time around. PAGO ISLAND - Generally I need a sprinter to have some recent success in sprint events in order to back her. Hard to bet this one after not being up front at 1 mile and now being spotted in a race of 6 furlongs. Will be tough for this thoroughbred to beat this group off of that last speed fig. Improbable to improve enough to run a figure anywhere near today's class rating, so put her on the likely underlays list. HIGHLAND LASS - Should have at least finished in the money in the last couple of months in a short distance event to be any kind of value at modest odds in a sprint. Improbable that the speed fig she earned on November 3rd will be enough in this event.
